Have you ever experienced rejection before? How does it feel to be rejected?
For some of us, that feeling or trauma of “being rejected” has stopped us from taking the next step in doing what we love, pursuing what is important and even in our mind begin telling ourselves that we are not good enough to take the next step or take any actions.
In working with sales & service professionals across the different regions, this is one of the common comments I heard from them. “I fear objections”, “What if I am not good enough for them”, “What if I am rejected for the solutions I proposed?”
It was great to listen to the story of Jia Jiang at Influence 2019 last week in Denver. Jia decided to start a Rejection Therapy, 7 years ago, by experiencing 100 days of rejection. He feels that the process will help him remove the pain and shame that rejection brings.
